Dear readers,
In recent weeks, you have shared with us your astonishment at the unpleasant computer experiences of several administrative procedures.
Indeed, what surprised you most were the weaknesses of some "digital" solutions, even though others have improved with real added value for the customer and the user.
Despite a redesign of their ergonomics to make them more modern, they have unfortunately proved to be a little difficult to understand. Sometimes, you even had the regret of noticing a degradation of the functional perimeter revealing some design defects. Finally, several of these solutions seem to have been put into production without an exhaustive recipe. Even more surprisingly, you have noted upgrades deployed in the middle of the day, i.e. in the middle of production, with service interruption for several hours or even several days.
Of course, as the old saying goes, "No one is perfect" and even if the health situation does not allow us to work as serenely as usual, we thought it would be useful to remind you of certain good practices that we strive to respect at iDeMa:
- A tried and tested earlier version is more desirable than a poorly designed novelty
- Nothing beats a real recipe, well thought out and effectively followed
- Change is possible, but only if it is a source of added value, well prepared and well supported.

Finally, if the design is very important, it is essential that the very engine of the application and its Conceptual Data Model (CDM ) be well thought out.... And for that, nothing beats a good understanding of the user's needs.
See you soon.
